Nowadays, Hollywood loves to remake Asian movies and the remakes are rarely up to the mark. Dark Water
was no exception. To be fair, I didn’t like the original Japanese version. I thought it was rather weak compared to the director’s previously much scarier movie, Ringu.
One thing I was wondering about was why did the lawyer (Tim Roth) lie to Dahlia (Jennifer Connelly) about his family?
