I can usually actually tell if my blogroll links have new posts before I click through. Granted, for my blog, I'd prefer if everybody clicked through IN HOPE OF updates, but that's another story. I've cut down on my site to only using it for my blogroll and in posts that are strictly "link posts". For me, those are the only two spots where SPA adds to the site. If your considering ditching it altogether (hence the poll), I would maybe consider stripping it down a little first.
