1) Borrow money from pessimists, they don’t expect it back.
2) The more you complain, the longer God lets you live.
3) If at first you don’t succeed, skydiving is not for you.
4) Never test the depth of the water with both feet.
5) If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again; it was probably worth it.
6) Forgive your enemies. It messes with their heads.
7) Don’t judge people by their relatives.
8) Don’t kick a man when he’s down unless you’re certain he won’t get up.
9) Happiness is good health and a bad memory.

and the one quote that is so, SO TRUE:

10) If you find something you like, buy a lifetime supply, because they will stop making it.

(Note: I didn’t come up with any of these, I collected them from the various nooks and crannies of the big, bad intarweb.)
