Telemarketer Special

In the previouslys, I posted about my feeble attempts at besting telemarketers. Then came Saphrym who showed that he, too, enjoyed devouring a telemarketer or two occasionally. And then along came Morgan who showed us who’s the boss of ‘em all by sharing this video.

Nicely done. I can’t even imagine what that telemarketer’s thinking halfway through this call and what he’d tell his boss.

Mwahaha!! That’s hilarious. I’ve heard it before, but it’s always good for a laugh.

On a related note, Lil’ Miss (my teenager) just started a telemarketing job. She need cash quick and they hire anyone- practically no questions asked (a little sinister, huh?). Anyway, she’s starting to come home with some funny stories about people freaking out on her. I might just have to blog about it. :)

OMG please do! I bet you have some really funny stories to tell!

Sometimes when I am lonely, I call telemarketing companies and ask for something to be sold to me … I always decline.

Liz - Thanks for the compliment. I had originally seen it with full video of the ‘policeman’ on the phone and I’m not sure the laugh track was as loud.
Kudos to Saphrym - His bit was audacious.
Here’s one I used to use:
Assuming you have caller ID or even if you don’t -
When the phone rings, pick it up and say “Hi, may I speak to Fred” (or Sally, or whatever)- When the caller responds, regardless of what they say, just simply ask again “Is Fred there?” They’ll say ‘no’ and you say, “Do you know where he is?” they respond - you can keep this up for as long as you want.
